The Delivery Group were proud to accept the award of Best Partnership at the logistic leader’s award ceremony held on the 10th November 2022.
The award represents the continued approach TDG takes to partnership. The award recognised the work TDG carried out through the pandemic with IPSOS MORI for the REACT-1 study. TDG provided a transport solution that allowed an under 24-hour turnaround from doorstep collection to testing laboratory, combined with a carrier consortium, booking engine, control tower, and call centre to support the project.”*
Launched in April 2020, the REACT programme is one of the world’s largest and most comprehensive coronavirus monitoring studies. The programme is led by a world-class team of researchers at Imperial College London in partnership with Ipsos MORI, and commissioned by the Department of Health and Social Care.
The programme uses home testing to track the progress of England’s epidemic, offering a high-resolution snapshot of how the virus and spreading and who is most at risk. REACT data are regularly reported to Government to inform and shape decision-making.
