Roof-Maker shortlisted for two industry awards

Next Wave portfolio company Roof Maker is celebrating its nomination for two prestigious industry awards.

Having already achieved the distinguished Passive House accreditation earlier this year, Roof Maker’s Passive House rooflight has been shortlisted for ‘Best Roofing System or Product’ in the 2018 Build It Awards; while the company’s Luxlite pitched rooflight has been nominated in the ‘Domestic Installation of a Rooflight’ category in Roofing Cladding and Insulation magazine’s 2018 Pitched Roofing Awards, alongside larger brands such as Velux and Coxdome.

Jonathan Brod, Managing Partner at Next Wave Partners, commented: “We are delighted that Roof Maker has been recognised for its commitment to innovation, technical excellence and product quality. These nominations, alongside brands such as Velux and Coxdome, are testament to the strength of the business’s product offering and the dedication of its team to delivering an outstanding outcome for customers. This follows the recent nomination of another portfolio company Future Thinking in the Market Research Society Industry Awards, alongside Twitter and Omnicom – another example of how Next Wave develops champions in their categories.”

Roof Maker is a world leader in the design, manufacture and supply of rooflights, offering standard or bespoke glazing solutions nationally from its headquarters in Leicester. Roof Maker’s Passive House flat rooflight is the only flat rooflight in the world to have achieved Passive House certification, a rigorous design and construction standard for optimal thermal efficiency.
