Clearway Bolsters UK Property Security with Acquisition of Secure Empty Property

The Clearway Group Limited (“Clearway”), a leading European provider of technology-enabled security solutions, has acquired Secure Empty Property Limited (“SEP”), a prominent supplier of security solutions across the UK.  The addition of SEP further expands Clearway’s UK footprint, services and team.

“We are very pleased to welcome the Secure Empty Property team into Clearway”, said Peter Eglinton, Executive Chairman of Clearway. “It offers us the perfect solution to expand our geographical reach and capabilities within the vacant property security side of our business. It will enable us to not only provide more support and solutions to our existing customers but also expand our customer base and continue to ensure a high-level of service. We look forward to this acquisition supporting our strategy for growth.”

Founded in 2012, SEP delivers tailored security for unoccupied buildings and construction sites including innovative use of alarms, CCTV and monitoring technology. SEP’s workforce and management team have over 100 years of combined experience in the sector.

Simon Broadbent, Founder and CEO of SEP, expressed enthusiasm about joining Clearway and gaining additional resources to serve clients: “finding the right partner to ensure we continue our success was important and we have found that in Clearway. SEP and Clearway are a good fit, and this move will be beneficial to not only the staff but also our combined customer base. We are looking to the future and what the wider group brings to the SEP customer portfolio, particularly in the technology arena. The industry has changed a lot and with technology constantly being updated, it’s important to remain at the forefront.”

The acquisition of SEP marks another expansion milestone for Clearway as it solidifies its market leadership in commercial security.
