The Clearway Group Limited (“Clearway”) a leading European provider of technology-enabled security solutions, has acquired SECONTEC Group (“SECONTEC”) a prominent German supplier of remote video surveillance and CCTV towers.
The purchase of SECONTEC marks another strategic move by Clearway to strengthen its security offerings across Europe. Founded in 2009 and headquartered in Germany, SECONTEC brings an established presence in the German and Austrian markets along with advanced video monitoring capabilities utilizing artificial intelligence.
By acquiring SECONTEC, Clearway adds four new offices in Germany and Austria as well as two additional video operations centers to its existing footprint that spans the UK and France. The combination expands Clearway’s CCTV tower fleet to nearly 2,000 units and allows the company to protect over 16,000 client sites throughout Europe.
