Clearway acquires SECONTEC

The Clearway Group Limited (“Clearway”) a leading European provider of technology-enabled security solutions, has acquired SECONTEC Group (“SECONTEC”) a prominent German supplier of remote video surveillance and CCTV towers.

The purchase of SECONTEC marks another strategic move by Clearway to strengthen its security offerings across Europe. Founded in 2009 and headquartered in Germany, SECONTEC brings an established presence in the German and Austrian markets along with advanced video monitoring capabilities utilizing artificial intelligence.

Commenting on the acquisition, Peter Eglinton, Clearway’s Executive Chairman, said; “Clearway is very pleased to welcome SECONTEC into its ever-growing family of European-wide organisations. This strategic acquisition provides us with positive geographical expansion and additional capabilities to further develop the technology solutions side of our business. The enlarged Group will enable us to continue to grow our customer base across Europe and it also supports our ambitious strategy for growth”.

Romuald Kowalik, Founder and Managing Director of SECONTEC, commented; “We are very happy to become members of the Clearway Group. We have been impressed by the growth and development of Clearway and its team and we are excited to be a part of its future, continuing to expand our presence in the German-speaking markets and working together on advanced technology solutions.”
