Molinare acquires Notorious DIT, launches new creative group

Molinare, a prominent UK-based post-production facility, has formed The Molinare Creative Group – a new entity comprised of five specialized companies to offer enhanced creative services spanning dailies, localisation, audio, interactive and more.

The new group includes the recent acquisition of Notorious DIT, a provider of digital dailies and DIT services for productions such as The Gentlemen and Peaky Blinders. Notorious will operate as a separate division led by founder Michael Pentney.

Additionally, Molinare has launched Sound Warriors for external audio recording, editing and mixing, and Voice Molinare to consolidate audio recording offerings under one brand. These new creative service branches will work with existing divisions Molinare TV & Film and Pip Studios which offer post-production and localization respectively.

“The new structure allows us to be clearer about our service offerings and connect clients to the right creative experts across a wider range of post-production needs,” said Nigel Bennett, Molinare CEO. “With the added capabilities, we can now provide true end-to-end services for our media clients.”

The formation of The Molinare Creative Group marks the next phase in the company’s ongoing expansion across film/TV & interactive post services. The move aims to leverage Molinare’s existing expertise while also diving deeper into growth areas such as localisation, and emerging fields like performance capture.
